On this sun-soaked Labor Day weekend in Boston, MA, Danielle Perry Beauty was honored to provide this Boston bride and her party with wedding makeup services for her special day. Kate and her fiance, Cody, both North Carolina natives, had made Boston their home and wanted to share this beautiful city with their loved ones and what better way than with an urban wedding at 9OFS!
Kate had received my information from a colleague of mine. When she reached out to me, we talked about who she was, her daily life, her makeup style, and her vision for herself and her bridal makeup look on her wedding day. Kate did not wear a lot of makeup and wanted a look that was very natural but elegant-classic and timeless. This is my specialty!
When we met for her bridal preview, we discussed in greater detail her desired makeup look, including color preferences, her wedding theme and palette, and dress details. Together we created a soft look for Kate with light coverage of foundation, and makeup tones in peaches and cream to define her features and compliment, but not overpower, her stunning wedding dress.
On the day of their wedding, we met Kate, her party of eight plus the two moms, in a suite at the Langham Hotel in Boston. Along with my friend and hairstylist extraordinaire, Kashmir Asvaraksh, we got these lovely ladies ready to celebrate the night away!
